Job content

In this position you will be part of the brand new Market Intelligence department of the Kramp Group. Within this department you will be supporting three functional disciplines: marketing research, webanalytics and pricing. In general, the main focus will be on marketing research. During your internship you will become acquainted with the various methods used for the functional Market Intelligence Disciplines:

Marketing Research
First of all, you will be involved in field research projects. There are possibilities to design customer surveys from scratch and apply them in practice. Based on the need for the organization you will be responsible for the design, the execution, the analysis and recommendations for research. This also provides the possibility to put statistical data analysis techniques in practice. Other marketing research will be carried out by means of desk research. An innovative and open minded way of collecting this data can help us to assess opportunities and threats in existing and new markets. The trainee could add value by enriching the existing knowledge databases and sources.

Web Analytics
You will be introduced into this relatively new area of (e)marketing. An active role is required into the organization of the web analytics tool, you will be part of brainstorm sessions about added value AB-and MVP-tests, and you will be responsible for the determination of international marketing campaigns together with local assortment managers. Discovering new insights from large databases using data mining techniques will be an important task as well.

During this internship, we offer the possibility to run different projects. For example setup of an Marketing Intelligence Portal, Setup of an international Data Gathering Process, Research Farmer and Contractors in Europe or research on big data analyse.

Our expectations

You are studying on a Bachelor (of Science) or Master (of Science) level, for example in the direction Marketing Management or E-Commerce, and you have the following capabilities:

  • Advanced English writing and speaking
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis (in Excel and preferably SPSS and Access)
  • Analytical mindset
  • Work independently and show initiative
  • Capable of visualizing outcomes of large amounts of data
  • Affinity with agricultural machinery markets
