Operational Excellence Manager Benelux

#REQ0014233

At Kramp, we believe that quality isn’t just a standard. It’s a promise to our customers. As Operational Excellence Manager Benelux for the Benelux cluster, you’ll play a key role in making that promise stronger every day. It’s a chance to make a real impact, on our teams, our customers and the future of our operations. This role combines strong project management skills with a focus on quality assurance and operational excellence. If this sounds like your next step, then join our team in Varsseveld!

What is your role?

Varsseveld is Kramp’s main warehouse and logistical Hub of the Benelux cluster. It has a high level of automation and also services Germany and other international countries within the Kramp Group. The warehouse facilities are approximately 80,000 m2, over 600 FTE, 250,000 order pick-lines each week and over 200,000 unique articles on stock.

As Operational Excellence Manager Benelux, you’ll lead, coordinate and successfully deliver complex improvement projects within the Benelux cluster. You will ensure that projects and improvement initiatives are executed effectively: on time, within budget, and in line with organizational objectives,  while embedding a culture of continuous improvement across all functions.

Here’s what that looks like:

Project & Change Management

  • Lead medium to large projects that support the goals of the Benelux cluster
  • Build clear plans with timelines, resources, and reporting to keep things on track
  • Guide teams through change with strong communication and stakeholder support

Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance

  • Drive initiatives that improve performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Keep our Quality Management System up to date and ensure compliance
  • Plan inspections, follow up on actions, and monitor results

Improvement, Innovation & Capability Building

  • Spot opportunities to improve how we work and turn ideas into action
  • Support teams with training and coaching in Lean, Six Sigma, and project methods
  • Share best practices and encourage collaboration across the organization

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

  • Align with leaders and stakeholders to keep goals and actions connected
  • Communicate progress clearly and build trust through transparency
  • Help shape a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Your team

Since the initiatives you lead are of strategical importance for safeguarding quality, compliance and customer satisfaction, you report directly to Brian Wismans, our Director Operations Benelux. You’ll also work closely with the Benelux leadership team as well as other (executive) stakeholders within Kramp Group.

Who are you?

You enjoy working on strategic projects that drive real change. You’re confident with data and know how to turn insights into action. You think in solutions, not problems—and combine strong ideas with a hands-on mindset. You feel at home near senior management, where decisions shape the future.

For this job we have a couple of requirements:

  • a Master’s degree or equivalent experience
  • around 3 years of relevant experience in areas such as consultancy, project management, data analytics, business development, planning, or operations
  • advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • experience with quality systems, continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, S5), or project portfolio management
  • experience with other project, data or programming tools is a plus
  • clear communication and a sense of accountability
  • ability to manage complexity and stay focused
  • a can-do mindset and strong analytical thinking
  • planning skills and resourcefulness.

What do we offer?

We are an ambitious, fast-growing and financially sound organization. You can obviously expect:

  • good salary
  • profit sharing bonus
  • 25 vacation days and 12 ADV days (based on a fulltime NL contract)
  • workplace in the Benelux headquarters in Varsseveld, the Netherlands. Flexible working policy in hours and location can be discussed
  • great budget for training and courses
  • generous pension plan
  • travel- and working from home allowance.
